Subsequently, he continued his professional career in the venture capital firm Encomenda Smart Capital, as Investment Manager, where he participated in the board of directors of several portfolio companies such as Declarando, OkTicket or Remitee, also participating in several divestment processes (e. g. sale of Declarando to the Norwegian firm Visma for +20M€). g. sale of Declarando to the Norwegian firm Visma for +20M€) to later join the management team of another portfolio company (Kampaoh), as well as the energy company Hobeen (of which he is a board member and investor), before launching Seica.

Pau began his professional career at Criteria Venture Tech (La Caixa) for two years, analyzing more than 25 investment opportunities in the early stages of technology companies such as Glovo, Wallapop, Ivoox, Factorial or Codigames. Subsequently, he joined the Encomenda group developing his career until assuming the financial management and portfolio analysis area of the entire group, participating in the management of ESC Tech Fund I, Encomenda Seed II and N Ventures, representing them on boards of portfolio companies such as OkTicket, Mediquo, Aquí Tu Reforma, Pridatect (currently Borneo.io) or Kampaoh, and leading the execution of more than 150 investment operations.

During the following two years, before launching Seica, he has worked as part-time CFO for startups such as Kintai, Foodie Fame, Premiumguest (now CoverManager), Shimoku, Break Event or Back2Life as well as advisor to venture capital managers such as 4Founders and crowdfunding consultancies such as APTKI, combining his financial expertise with a strategic and operational vision of companies in growth stages.

Guillem began his career in the venture capital industry at Encomenda Smart Capital, where he was the first addition to the analyst team. He worked closely with the later Investment Director, managing the dealflow and leading the analysis of opportunities. This experience sparked his interest in entrepreneurship, which led him to study at Babson College (#2 in the country in entrepreneurship) to strengthen his knowledge.

On his return, he joined Antai Venture Builder, a benchmark in Southern Europe in digital startups. There he participated in the entire end-to-end process, from opportunity detection to launch, working closely with the founding teams on investment rounds and strategy. Marc started his professional career in the consumer division of GSK pharmaceuticals, where he stayed for 2 years. Then, in 2016, he co-founded Colvin, the leading online flower sales platform in Southern Europe. In 4 years, he opened market in 5 markets, scaling sales from 0 to 15M€ and from 3 to more than 330 employees. At Colvin, he took on the role of CMO, leading the building of one of the most recognized consumer brands in the startup world, as well as scaling both organic and paid channels. After the pandemic and having raised over €80M of capital in investment rounds, Marc left Colvin to jump into the venture capital world.
